Ginger-Marinated Chicken


1 jar Spice Mama Zinging Ginger

8 boneless skinless chicken thighs, OR 4-6 skin-on, bone-in chicken thighs or legs


Marinate chicken in Zinging Ginger for anywhere between 20 minutes - 3 hours, depending on your available time! 

Preheat oven to 375 for boneless-skinless thighs, 425 for bone-on, skin-on. 

In a large cast-iron skillet, get 2 tbsp grapeseed oil super hot so the oil is shimmering. Lay the chicken (skin-side down if you're using skin on) - there will be oil splatter so be careful! You should hear a very yummy sizzle when you lay the chicken down.

Sear 2 minutes for boneless-skinless thighs, 3-4 minutes for skin-on. Turn the skillet off to protect yourself from splatter, flip the chicken, and stick it in the oven. 

7-8 minutes for boneless skinless thighs. 

30-35 minutes for bone-in thighs and legs.
